Apple hat Berichten zu folge 12PB Speicher von Isilon Systems zur Verwaltung der Video-Downloads der Benutzer über iTunes gekauft, nach einer Storage-Newsletter Quelle innerhalb EMC.

It's probably the largest of its 1,500 customers recorded at the end of December, including 20% in Europe. On April 11, Isilon will launch a new line of hardware and software. But IBM has not respected the embargo and has revealed the enhanced Isilon OneFS 6.5 operating system - integrated with Tivoli Storage Manager - on its web site.

If one hdd of 1 GB is approx 4 cm high. That would be a tower of 503.31 km!!!
