Newly Discovered Trick Lets You Bypass iPhone Lockscreen and Access Contacts, Photos, More [Video]

Posted November 18, 2016 at 6:05pm by iClarified
A new trick has been discovered that lets you bypass the iPhone's lockscreen and access contacts, photos, and other information for any device with Siri enabled.

Demonstrated by iDeviceHelp in a YouTube video, the process is a bit complicated but involves using a series of actions via Siri, FaceTime, and Voiceover to gain access to information on the device.

Take a look at the video below for instructions on how to try it yourself. The trick has been shared with Apple and will likely be addressed in a future software update.

One problem Sherlock! 10.2 is a BETA!!!!! The official software for iPhone is 10.1.1. So, since 10.2 is NOT released official software there is NO PROBLEM!

If you disable Siri on the lock screen (and Hey Siri) this stops this security hole. If you do that then at least you will have some safety that way until Apple issues a proper fix.
