Apple has updated GarageBand with a limited time option to purchase the (GarageBand)RED Loop Pack, an exclusive collection of 300 guitar, bass, synth and drum loops in a variety of genres.
The loop pack only be available until Dec 7, 2014 with an in-app purchase. Purchased loops will be permanently accessible from the GarageBand loop browser. 100% of the proceeds go to (RED)’s fight against AIDS.
GarageBand turns your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch into a collection of Touch Instruments and a full-featured recording studio — so you can make music anywhere you go. Use Multi-Touch gestures to play a piano, organ, guitar, and drums. They sound and play like their counterparts, but let you do things you could never do on a real instrument. Enjoy Smart Instruments that make you sound like a pro — even if you’ve never played a note before. Plug an electric guitar into your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch and play through classic amps and stompbox effects. Use a Touch Instrument, a built-in microphone, or a guitar and instantly record a performance with support for up of 32 tracks*. Record performances from third-party music and effect apps directly into GarageBand using Inter-App Audio in iOS 8. And share your song using email, Facebook, YouTube, SoundCloud, or AirDrop for iOS.

Same here, I still get "Operation cannot be completed.". Tried Apple chat for nearly an hour, the guy was not able to resolve. Then handed me to phone call apple care guy, he tried troubleshooting for 10 mins, later kept me on hold and came back told that it's a issue on their side and that I should try after few hours and everything will work. However, I still get same "Operation cannot be completed".
It's a loot. Hopefully, they still will donate that amount.
same problem - I got the receipt from Apple confirming that I purchased the red loop pack, but I can't install it on either my iPad or my iPhone 6 - error message is "Operation can't be completed"
