Apple has started using its own Maps for the online version of Find My iPhone instead of Google Maps.
You can find the new Apple Maps on beta.icloud.com; however, there are also some reports that Apple Maps have appeared on www.icloud.com.
Notably, Apple is recruiting engineers for a major rewrite of the Maps application programming interface. The company has also increased the pace of updates and corrections to its mapping data.
Take a look at the difference below!

Google tries so hard I get lost and end up dribbling around in circle or find an identical place but not the same. Apple actually gets me there without the BS.
I don't know about this, bro. I'm a certified DEV team member and am logged in to both BETA.iCloud.com and www.iCloud.com .. both show GOOGLE copyrights beneath maps (and both maps look identical).
For me, Apple maps work perfectly fine, google maps is terrible but they also do get locations right, but all the loading and features, just meh. The move here is a special move, probably to help spread a better refreshed map service worldwide or make it faster working.
