Apple has launched a new webpage detailing, 'Why you'll love an iPad'.

When iPad was introduced, there was nothing quite like it. And there still isn’t. Today millions of people are using iPad and iPad mini to do just about anything you can imagine. Here are a few reasons why they’re loving every minute of it.

We’re not the only ones who think you’ll love it.
People love using iPad. We know because they’ve said so. In a study by J.D. Power and Associates, Apple ranked “Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among Tablets.”1 The American Customer Satisfaction Index also ranked Apple first in the category of personal computers, which includes tablets.2 And because people love iPad so much, they’re doing more with it — a lot more. Here are just a few examples.
81% Tablet web traffic comes from iPad.³ 95% Fortune 500 companies piloting or deploying iPad. 65% US school districts piloting or deploying iPad.

Only iPad has so many apps designed specifically for it.
With more than 300,000 apps made just for iPad, there’s almost no end to what you can do.4 These aren’t merely scaled-up versions of phone apps that lack features designed for a larger screen. They’re powerful apps tailor-made to take full advantage of everything iPad has to offer. And because iPad and iPad mini are so thoughtfully designed, virtually every app works on both devices.

It’s beautifully made. And performs beautifully.
Made from high-quality materials like aluminum and glass, iPad and iPad mini are exquisitely designed. You can tell just by looking. But from the very first touch, you’ll realize there’s much more to them than meets the eye. That’s because Apple designers and engineers worked together to create a device that’s as remarkable on the inside as it is on the outside. With powerful Apple-designed chips and fast graphics, the true beauty of iPad may just be how astonishingly capable it is.

Two great sizes. Two brilliant displays.
iPad comes in two sizes. Each with a display that’s beautiful in its own right. The iPad with Retina display packs 3.1 million pixels into a mere 9.7 inches of screen. Which means your eye can’t distinguish individual pixels, and everything you see looks incredibly crisp and lifelike. While the iPad mini display is bright and vivid, and a perfect canvas for all the apps made for iPad.

A battery that lasts as long as you will.
iPad not only lets you do more, it lets you do more for longer. Even with its slim design and incredible performance, iPad has an astounding 10-hour battery life.5 Since iPad was first introduced, great battery life has been one of the things that makes an iPad an iPad. And — even as we’ve made it faster and more powerful — that continues to be true today.

Smile for the camera. Both of them.
The iSight camera on the back of iPad lets you shoot beautiful 5-megapixel still images and record HD video in full 1080p. And the front-facing FaceTime HD camera lets you shoot 720p video and make video calls on the big, beautiful iPad screen. But even more remarkable is what happens after you’ve got the shot. That’s when you can edit your photos with a touch or cut your video into a cinematic classic — all on the same device you shot it with.

iPad gives you ultrafast wireless and LTE.
With advanced dual-band Wi-Fi built into every iPad, you can browse, download, and stream content at remarkable speeds. If you want to stay connected in more places, Wi-Fi + Cellular models can make ultrafast cellular network connections — up to LTE.6 With support for cellular networks all over the world, iPad is fast no matter where you are.

Millions of ways to play, work, and learn. From one trusted source.
The more apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books you download to your iPad, the better it gets. With iPad, all that content is available from one source: Apple. The iTunes Store is the world’s largest and most trusted entertainment store. And the App Store is home to over 300,000 iPad apps — all reviewed by Apple to guard against malware. Other mobile platforms have a myriad of fragmented store options, resulting in availability issues, developer frustration, and security risks.
iOS 6. The world’s most advanced mobile operating system.

The innovative features and built-in apps in iOS 6 make iPad not only easy to use but also incredibly fun. Right from the start, you can say “hi” over email, wave hello with video calling, or ask Siri to set up an in-person meeting. Every iOS software update downloads right on iPad, so the latest iOS version is just a tap away. And because Apple makes both the hardware and the software, iOS features are designed to work perfectly with iPad features like the display, gyro, and accelerometer.

iCloud puts your content on all your devices.
iCloud takes the experience of using iPad that much further. It stores your content — your music, photos, apps, mail, contacts, calendars, documents, and more — and wirelessly pushes it to all your devices. And with Photo Stream, pictures taken on one iOS device automatically appear on all your devices, including your Mac or PC. iCloud is seamlessly integrated into your apps, and it all just works. So you’re up to date everywhere you go. All you have to do is nothing.

iPad comes with something unique: support from real people.
Every iPad comes with support from real people who know everything there is to know about iPad and iOS — people you can call at 1-800-MY-APPLE or speak to in person at your favorite Apple Retail Store whenever you have questions or concerns. With the other guys, you’re not sure where to go for help. Call the manufacturer, and they tell you it’s a software problem. Call the software developers, and they tell you it’s a hardware problem. Getting answers shouldn’t be that hard. And with Apple, it never is.
