Staples may soon begin selling Apple products according to multiple reports.
9to5Mac recently discovered that the site was listing test product pages for a number of Apple products including the Apple TV and Lightning Cable.
MacRumors followed up that report by revealing that a source had informed them of the move last week but they couldn't confirm the claim.
While the products listed on the test pages are limited to accessories with the exception of the Apple TV, our original source had claimed that Apple's full lineup of Macs, iPads, and at least the iPhone 5 would be coming to Staples in the United States. No specific timeframe for an official launch of Apple's products at Staples beyond "in the coming months" has been shared.
Staples has since pulled the Apple-Mock-Up section.

An iTv for $49 shows that it isn't real yet, and is just a place holder for when (and IF) they go with it. But it makes perfect sense for them to sell Lightning cables, even if they Don't carry a bunch of iPads (and expose themselves to more thefts).
