Apple is rolling out new iTunes gift cards which can be set to any amount between $15 and $500, reports 9to5Mac.
Rolling out to your favorite supermarket or retail store this holiday season are new Apple iTunes gift cards which can be bought in any denomination between $15 and $500. We’re hearing that at least one supermarket chain and one retailler are putting these on the shelves today. You take these cards to the cashier and choose how much to put on them. When the cashier validates the card, the amount paid is tied to the number/code.
Previously you had to purchase gift cards in preset denominations that only went up to $100.
Great but should start at a lower amount. Why not make it a pre paid card that you keep and add cash to it when ever you want. Build up amount over time, like a savings card but you use it to buy music apps or save for your next phone? Walk into a apple store hand over you card get your new phone computer leads head phones what ever you need? And think of the cards you would save by topping up card and not just putting it in the bin. Link card to your number/contract/iTunes account. I would have one
