Sprint has announced that it's now offering the LTE iPad mini and fourth generation iPad in stores.
Sprint is offering these new iPads with a range of attractive data plans that allow customers to connect to its 4G LTE network. The data plans are available without a contract providing customers with the freedom to activate or cancel a plan at any time. Limited quantities of the new iPads are now available at select Sprint retail locations.
“iPad mini and the fourth generation iPad, combined with Sprint’s 4G LTE network and our aggressively priced rate plans, offer customers an outstanding tablet experience,” said Fared Adib, senior vice president, Product Development, Sprint. “Sprint doesn’t put its customers on shared pricing plans like some carriers. With Sprint you get the best pricing for all the data you need without the worry of overages.”
It's thought that Apple and other retailers will begin offering the LTE iPad mini in stores today as well.

Why is sprint advertising LTE? The fastest I've ever seen their LTE network tested was about 11 Mbps. I have T-Mobile USA on my iPhone 5 and I get 3G/4G in some areas, when I tested my network speed it was 9-12.50 Mbps which is 4G (not LTE). Anyway just pointing that out.
