Square is Now Available in Canada

Square has announced that it's extended its credit card processing services to Canada.

Square’s free card reader, simple pricing, and smart business tools make it easy for you to do what you love and get paid. Pay just 2.75% per swipe for Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Discover. No monthly fees or merchant contracts. Funds from swiped payments are deposited into your bank account in 1-2 business days.

Square’s Mobile Card Reader is available for free on square.ca. You can download Square Register from the App Store at the link below.

I switched from Square to mPowa (www.mpowa.com) when it was launched last July. Square is expensive for me but I must admit they know how to care for their customers (good thing mPowa is also like that). I am happy Square started going internation when most of their copycats have done that early on. Square is a benchmark MPOS company, and for that congratulations. :)

Screw square! We use them in our business and they have NO phone numbers listed so you can talk to someone if there is a dispute or a problem. Only email. We are moving over to sail from verifone.
