Half of all U.S. households own at least one Apple product, according to CNBC's All-America Economic survey.
Just 28 percent of those making less than $30,000 a year own at least one, compared with 77 percent of those making more than $75,000. Those on the higher end of the income scale own an average of about three Apple devices, compared with 0.6 for lower-income homes.
Interestingly, 63% of Americans between 35-49 use Apple products. That's the same percentage as those between the ages of 18-34. The number drops to 50% for the 50-64 age group and 26% for the 65 and up group.
Apple devices are more prominent in the West with 57% of homes having one. The rest of the country is at 47-51%.
Ownership is the same among Republicans (56%) and Democrats (56%) but more Demoncrats (26%) plan to buy new Apple products in the next year than Republicans (19%).
i get less than 25K a year and i own . MB AIR, MB PRO, IPAD3 64GB,IPOD TOUCH 64GB,IPOD NANO 16GB,2 IPHONE 4S 64GB,IPHONE 2G 16GB,APPLE TV, AND EVERYTIME THEY COME OUT WITH A NEW PRODUCT THAT I ALREADY OWN I SELL THE OUTDATED ONE TO BUY ME NEWEST RELEASE. SO TO SAY THAT ONLY PEOPLE THAT HAVE AN INCOME OF 75K OR MORE HAVE MORE THAN 1 APPLE PRODUCT IS CRAP.
