Apple Starts Countdown to 25 Billion App Downloads and a $10,000 Prize

Apple has started a countdown to 25 billion app downloads and is offering a $10,000 app store gift card to the person who downloads the 25 billionth app.
As of today, nearly 25 billion apps have been downloaded worldwide. Which is almost as amazing as the apps themselves. So we want to say thanks. Download the 25 billionth app, and you could win a US$10,000 App Store Gift Card.* Just visit the App Store and download your best app yet.
Am I the only one who thinks that prize is utter bullshit? I mean great for Apple to give away anything ever, whatever. I don't think I would or could ever use $10,000 in itunes. I'd prefer $5000 cash.
Free music (and Apps) for the rest of your life!!!!! I don't think iTunes will ever going away. I would take the $10,000 gift card. But, I do wish you could use it on the apple store not just iTunes store. I want a new iMac, and Mac Mini Server.
Thinking about it both would be nice. But I would take anything that's free.
