Apple's iPhone business alone is now bigger than all of Microsoft put together, notes MG Siegler and Business Insider.
In the December quarter, Apple's iPhone business generated $24.4 billion of revenue. Microsoft's whole company, meanwhile, from Windows to Office to servers to XBox, generated $20.9 billion.
That's a pretty impressive observation. Applying Apple's average overall profit margin of 38%, the company generated about $9.3 billion for its iPhone business alone. Microsoft generated only $8.2 billion in profit.
So does that mean that we gotta switch to Windows to support the smaller? Im seriously thinking going to Nokia Win mobile since got really boring with iOS... 4 years same same - is too long time. Need something different to keep my brains sharp. Maybe next step is to go from OSX to Win 8.... hmmm. or maybe thats a bit too radical. :)
I just want to see what will be on the next iphone 5? If nothing is new majoirly like siri it will flop. it has to at some point. No phone stand up high!
