Apple is Now Offering 'Complete My Season Pass' for TV Shows

Apple has reportedly started offering a 'Complete My Season Pass' feature for TV Shows that works similar to the 'Complete My Album' feature for music, according to MacRumors.

When logged in and viewing an iTunes Store page listing for a single season of a TV show, the Season Pass purchase price will be reduced by the amount of previous single-episode purchases, allowing users to upgrade to the full season without having to essentially repurchase the episodes they had previously acquired individually.

This is definitely a nice money saving addition for those who frequently purchase TV Shows through iTunes and could result in increased sales for Apple.

I seriously don't see how that is called a "Season Pass". It's just new policy. Can I purchase a season ahead of time and download it on any iDevice to watch as the new episodes become available? That would be a season pass to me.
