CBS to Lower iTunes Pricing for Some TV Shows

CBS has said that they will mark down the iTunes pricing of some of its TV shows from $1.99 to $0.99.

CEO Les Moonves made the announcement during the company’s earnings call today,

“There are certain shows that will be sold on Apple for 99 cents.”


Moonves said details hadn’t been worked out yet.

Its been rumored for some time that Apple is trying to convince networks to drop pricing for their iTunes content in an attempt to jump start online video sales.
