Apple has released Final Cut Camera 1.2, bringing a handful of new features and enhancements for iPhone users focused on professional video recording. The update builds on the app's capabilities with improved lens options, playback settings, audio recording, and frame rate support.
Users can now quickly switch to the 48 mm telephoto lens for precise shots, a feature exclusive to iPhone 14 Pro models and later. For those with an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, Log videos can now be played back in SDR or HDR using the Apple Log LUT, preserving the original scene's vibrancy. iPhone 16 owners gain the ability to record in Spatial Audio, delivering richer, more immersive soundscapes. Additionally, the app now supports 50 fps capture, offering greater flexibility for editing and final delivery across compatible devices.
