Boot Speed Test: iPhone 6s and 6s Plus vs. iPhone 6 and 6 Plus [Video]

Check out this boot speed test comparing the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus.

Each device was cleanly restored to iOS 9.0.1. They have the same capacity (128GB) and the exact same process was used to setup iOS.

As expected the iPhone 6s came in first place; however, the iPhone 6s Plus strangely came in last place. We repeated the test numerous times with the same result. Last year, there were reports that Apple was having issues with the TLC NAND Flash in the 128GB version of the iPhone 6 Plus. Perhaps, the company has made a change to the storage with the iPhone 6s Plus. We're looking into the matter and will let you know if we learn any more details.

Sorry but 3D Touch and 4K video,that you can only use for 30 minutes is in no way enough of an upgrade for me to turn in my Iphone6 and pay for an early upgrade,just another gimmick for Apple to take our money,getting tired of they're sh$&,might be time to cross on over to Android,the s6 edge is actually looking pretty good.And by the way huawie (might not be spelled right,sorry)already had 3D Touch way before Apple.Likebi said I have always loved Apple but getting tired of the crap they deal us.

@Santosc9 - Samsung does the same thing. So does everyone else. A company refines and improves their product and we decide as consumers whether we want it.

For me, it's very poor battery life on 6s 64gb. Disappointed.....

I've got the 6s 128gb and I've been having a lot of freezing going on. It's mostly during typing out large paragraphs or messages but it's also been happening randomly by doing something as simple as opening an app. It's running iOS 9.0.1

Probably a bug they've got to fix. There are always minor teething issues with every new device. Both hardware and software.

I was having the same problem with my 6S, 128GB. After unlocking the phone, the springboard wouldn't respond to swipes right away, apps were slow opening up, etc. A simple "Reset All Settings" fixed the problem for me. Try that and see if it's fixes your problems as well.

Restore your phone and reinstall the app from the computer back up. Use the iCloud to restore your app. This should fix your issue.
