Apple is purportedly working on a 'special version' of iPadOS that would run on a larger 14.1-inch iPad Pro, according to leaker 941.
The new 14.1-inch model will allegedly feature support for up to two 6K displays at 60Hz, hinting at an M3 Pro SoC.
I've heard there's a special version of iPadOS 17, being developed specifically for larger iPad Pro/Ultra/Studio model(s), there's a slight change that would give the 14.1" model support for up to 2 6K displays at 60hz. This signals for a definite M3 Pro SoC in the flagship iPad
While support for two 6K displays could be achieved using daisy chaining, Apple could also decide to add a second Thunderbolt port.
While it is early, this can be performed using daisy chaining Thunderbolt displays. But one could easily ASSUME we're getting multiple Thunderbolt ports on this model 🙏
There have been multiple inconsistent rumors about Apple's development of a larger iPad. While initially Ross Young predicted a 14.1-inch iPad Pro for 2023, that was walked back. We've also heard rumors of a 16-inch iPad Pro, but seen no corroborating leaks.
