Momentat este posibil sa face update la iOS 7 fara a avea UDID-ul telefonului inregistrat intr-un cont de developer.

Am fost atentionati de catre un cititor al iClarified, Will Peterson, care a reusit sa faca update pe doua iPhone 5. Am incercat si noi si confirmam ca functioneaza, testand pe un iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 nou si inca un iPhone 5.

Pentru a incepe update-ul, trebuie sa descarci ipsw-ul iOS 7, tine apasat pe Option key (Shift in Windows) si click pe Update in iTunes. Din fereastra popup care apare, selecteaza ipsw-ul iOS7 pentru a-l instala.

Nu este clar de ce merge. Numai device-urile iPhone inregistrate de developeri ar trebui sa fie capabile de instalarea firmware-ului beta. Momentan, Apple nu mai controleaza acest lucru, de cand serverele lor sunt flood-ate.

Succes!

Atentie:
- Nu face acest lucru in caz ca vrei sa-ti pastrezi jailbreak-ul. Nu vei fi capabil sa il mai instalezi.
- Nu face acest lucru in caz ca ai nevoie de hacktivation. Hackactivate-ul nu va mai fi posibil.
- Nu face acest lucru in caz ca vrei sa te intorci la iOS 6. Nu este posibil. Update: Am incercat sa facem downgrade si a mers!

Note:
- TREBUIE sa folosesti butonul update, NU cel de restore.
- Userii spun ca merge mai bine daca faceti update-ul de la iOS 6.1.3 decat versiuni mai vechi.
- Verificati daca device-ul este activat inainte de a da update.

I bought this phone from somebody, after i restored it....it is stuck on the activation screen and asking for the other person's apple id. I lost the number for the other guy whom i bought it from....but this phone is not stolen or lost...phone has clean IMEI.

If I have the iOS 7 now, when the official update comes out, will I be able to update it to whatever comes out or will it mess up my phone? I believe I have the iOS 7 Beta 5 right now and haven't updated it to the current one so if I wait till the 18th is it going to totally screw up my phone?

I put my iPad 2 (6.1) into DFU mode, restore with option+cmd and it worked first try.

i have updated my iphone 4s right from my phone on the last two betas with no problems at all. im not a developer, and i havent bought into buying one either. just so people know it can be done with no problems.

one quick question was looking in to buying a subscription for the $99 from apple but website is down. have already updated to IOS 7 the free way to see if i like the software before buying. How long do you believe it will take before apple is up and running again??

Any one else with ios 7 with no developer account and no issues suddenly have their phone go into activation error? I've been on ios 7 for weeks, but all of a sudden my phone isn't working!
