These are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPad using Limera1n for Windows.
Essas são instruções de como fazer jailbreak em seu iPad usando Limera1n no Windows.

Passo Um
Abra o web browser (navegador) de sua escolha e navegue até http://www.limera1n.com. Clique no botão Download for Windows do link na tela.

Como Fazer Jailbreak em Seu iPad Usando Limera1n (Windows)

Passo Dois
Quando solicitado salve o download em seu desktop

Passo Três
Clique duas vezes no arquivo limera1n.exe que está em seu desktop para iniciar a aplicação

Passo Quatro
Clique em make it ra1n.

Passo Cinco
Seu iPad agora será posto no recovery mode.

Pressione os botões power e home juntos.

Quando o Limera1n pedir a você, solte o botão power.

Seu dispositivo agora estará no DFU mode

Depois que o limera1n fizer esta proeza, você verá o ícone de uma gota de chuva verde-lima em seu iPad.

O Limera1n irá dizer a você quando o processo estiver concluído.

Passo Seis
Depois de religar o seu iPad, você verá um novo icone na SpringBoard chamado limera1n. Press it to continue.

Passo Sete
Uma vez aberto o Limera1n, selecione Cydia e pressione o botão Install no topo direito da tela.

Passo Oito
Quando a instalação do Cydia estiver concluída, você deverá reiniciar o seu iPad.

Passo Nove
Quando o IPAD tiver reiniciado, pode executar o Cydia. Deixe-o fazer todas as atualizações necessárias.

NOTA*: Para remover o ícone limera1n do seu desktop você pode instalar CyDelete do Cydia e usá-lo para eliminar o aplicativo. Eventualmente, essa capacidade deve estar presente no próprio limera1n.

Do NOT use with VMWare Fusion. I spend yesterday 'unbricking' my ipad because I tried to use this with VMWare. Got the iPad free again, used Bootcamp and seems to be working flawlessly.

I get through the jailbreak process, i see the green raindrop but in the end i see no white app icon not even after rebooting the device. I tried many times

For those that can't get it to work, make sure you have latest iTune running in the background when you doing the JB. The iTune will keep asking you to restore the iPad just close the window when it pop up. I tried twice without the iTune running and does not work. The third time I let iTune running in the background and it did the trick. Good luck.

i fianlly got it working on my ipad 3.2.2. I used VPN to finally got Cydia installed. Thanks Geohot i am having fun with my new jailbreaked ipad now

I have Ipad 3.2.2 If the jailbreak doesn't work, will a full restore bring my IPad back to working factory condition with no traces of Cydia or limera1n? Thanks.

Me too, it gets all the way through the process and I see no raindrop. Even after reboot and tried again I got nothing. Hopefully someone can help us out.

Someone said Limera1n is not compatible to wfi version of Ipad 3.22. Maybe we need to wait for greenpois0n

It does not work with Ipad 3.2.2 (7B500) Since limera1n said that it have performed its exploit, there are no image of a lime raindrop on the iPad and no icon on the SpringBoard.

this version is not working. i already tried many times. after the jailbreaking process is done , always the itunes with cable screen comes up.

I got limera1n running in my iPad. The only downside is I can't download cydia. Cydia is blocked by Chinese government just like Facebook,Twitter and YouTube. Can someone post a tutorial for iPad proxy setting? Most of the users need to bypass the block by using proxy severs Thanks!

I tried to install this at 2010-10-10 13:30 and everything is working fine, after JB, I can also installed the 'Cydia' from Limera1n as well. Cool.... i am from Hong Kong

I normally use my MacBook to sync my iPad. Will it matter if I use my windows pc to do the jailbreak, but them use my mac to re-sync everything?

I am having the same issue here. Maybe iClarified can clarify some of these instructions.
