Comment faire le "Jailbreak" de votre iPad en utilisant "Limera1n" (Windows)

Voici les instructione du "jailbreak" de votre "iPad" utilisant Limera1n pour Windows.

Etape 1
Ouvrir le navigateur de votre choix et accéder au site http://www.limera1n.com. Cliquer sur Download for Windows Lien en bas de l'ecran.

Etape 2
En accédant, sauvegarder sur le burea

Etape 3
Double clique sur limera1n.exe , le fichier sur le bureau pour ouvrir l'application

Etape 4
Cliquer sur le large make it ra1n boutton

Etape 5
Votre iPAD va entrer maintenant en "Recovery Mode".

Presser a la fois le boutton ON/OFF et le boutton HOME.

Quand Limera1n le demande, relacher le boutton ON/OFF.

Votre iPAD va passer en DFU mode

Quand limera1n accomplira ces taches, vous allez voir l'image de lime raindrop sur votre iPad.

Limera1n va vous donner signe en complétant.

Etape 6
Après le redémarrage de votre iPad, une iconne va apparaitre sur le SpringBoard nommé limera1n. Cliquez sur elle pour continuer.

Etape 7
Quand Limera1n s'ouvre, séléctionner Cydia puis cliquer sur Install le boutton en haut et a gauche de l'ecran.

Etape 8
Quand l'installation de Cydia est fini, redémarrez l'iPAD.

Etape 9
Quand votre iPad redémarre, vous pourriez ouvrir Cydia. Laissez lui faire toutes les mises-à-jour.

NOTE*: Pour enlever l'iconne limera1n du bureau, vous pouvez installer CyDelete de Cydia pour enlever l'application. Bien-sur, cette option doit etre dans limera1n lui meme.

Do NOT use with VMWare Fusion. I spend yesterday 'unbricking' my ipad because I tried to use this with VMWare. Got the iPad free again, used Bootcamp and seems to be working flawlessly.

I get through the jailbreak process, i see the green raindrop but in the end i see no white app icon not even after rebooting the device. I tried many times

For those that can't get it to work, make sure you have latest iTune running in the background when you doing the JB. The iTune will keep asking you to restore the iPad just close the window when it pop up. I tried twice without the iTune running and does not work. The third time I let iTune running in the background and it did the trick. Good luck.

i fianlly got it working on my ipad 3.2.2. I used VPN to finally got Cydia installed. Thanks Geohot i am having fun with my new jailbreaked ipad now

I have Ipad 3.2.2 If the jailbreak doesn't work, will a full restore bring my IPad back to working factory condition with no traces of Cydia or limera1n? Thanks.

Me too, it gets all the way through the process and I see no raindrop. Even after reboot and tried again I got nothing. Hopefully someone can help us out.

Someone said Limera1n is not compatible to wfi version of Ipad 3.22. Maybe we need to wait for greenpois0n

It does not work with Ipad 3.2.2 (7B500) Since limera1n said that it have performed its exploit, there are no image of a lime raindrop on the iPad and no icon on the SpringBoard.

this version is not working. i already tried many times. after the jailbreaking process is done , always the itunes with cable screen comes up.

I got limera1n running in my iPad. The only downside is I can't download cydia. Cydia is blocked by Chinese government just like Facebook,Twitter and YouTube. Can someone post a tutorial for iPad proxy setting? Most of the users need to bypass the block by using proxy severs Thanks!

I tried to install this at 2010-10-10 13:30 and everything is working fine, after JB, I can also installed the 'Cydia' from Limera1n as well. Cool.... i am from Hong Kong

I normally use my MacBook to sync my iPad. Will it matter if I use my windows pc to do the jailbreak, but them use my mac to re-sync everything?

I am having the same issue here. Maybe iClarified can clarify some of these instructions.
