How to Power Off Your iPhone [Video]

If you're new to iPhone or if you’ve just upgraded to a newer model, you may be wondering how to power it off.

Step One
Hold down the both Side button and the Volume Up or Volume Down button until you see the power slider appear. If you keep holding the buttons down your iPhone will dial emergency services, so make sure to release the buttons before that happens.

Drag the power slider to the right to turn off your device.
