Apple may have already booked the stage for an announcement on January 26th, 2010, according to a FT report.
The company has rented a stage at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco for few days in late January, say their sources.
Apple used the YBCA stage as recently as September for their music event in which Steve Jobs announced new iPods.
Analysts and the rumor mill strongly believe Apple will soon launch the must anticipated tablet.
We believe there is a 75 per cent likelihood that Apple will have an event in January and a 50 per cent chance that it will be held to launch the Apple Tablet, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster wrote in a new research note. If Apple announced the Tablet in January, it would likely ship later in the March quarter.
