YouTube has updated its iOS app with with HDR support for the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. The change was spotted by reddit user geepolkgee.

The app already had HDR support for the iPhone X but it appears an update was necessary to add support for Apple's new smartphones.

You can download YouTube from the App Store for free.

Who really cares with such a small screen? Seriously curious as to why this even matters. On a large monitor or TV it is very relevant though.
