Luca Todesco has updated the yalu iOS 10.2 jailbreak with support for the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 4.
The yalu jailbreak now supports all 64-bit iOS devices except for the iPhone 7. Unfortunately, the iPhone 7 may never be supported; however, you can follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS to be notified if is.
Yesterday Apple stopped signing iOS 10.2 which means you cannot upgrade, downgrade, or restore to the firmware using iTunes. If you've already saved your iOS 10.2 SHSH blobs you may be able to downgrade your device. We'll have some more details on that soon.
I'm no one to judge here since I don't really know what it takes to jailbreak a device, however I really think (an hope), that a jailbreak for iPhone 7/7+ should be developed & released ASAP, no rocket science but older devices will be obsolete soon, and jailbreaks in older devices and iOS's will be useless. The sooner a jailbreak for newest iPhones is released, the sooner we'll have a more stable and reliable JB like the one running in iOS 9 and older.
Also, it should be hard to be working 'for free' in a jailbreak while on the other hand Apple is offering a big prize for those who find security bugs in their iOS which JB uses and exploits.

The way dudes like Luca work is that they exploit the ios devices that are the easiest then work their way up. Luca started with select 64bit models and got those goin first. Im sure iP7 will come shortly
You are right, still plenty of people using older devices, but every time this 'plenty' number of people is getting lower while people on new devices are growing.
Yalu b6 did an amazing work jailbreaking my iPhone on iOS 10.2, very stable release BTW. Thanks to Luca, Marco and all the people involved in it, Tihmstar for Prometheus and Conan1 for the TssSaver to save our SHSH2 blobs, I wrote my generator to the nvram if I ever need to restore to 10.2.
I've seen you here before - you're getting old with the "you can't jailbreak on your own"....That's garbage.
Can you create the code to make your own web browser? Oh, no you better not use a Firefox, Edge, or Chrome because you can't make that on your own.
Can you build a car, do you drive?
Can you operate a cattle farm, do you eat beef?
Can you on your own build a cell phone from scratch, do you use one?
buh bye
jailbreak done.. AIR1 done.. AIR2 done... using yalu beta7.
just need to get specific password from idapple... then all WELL DONE.
thanks to team YALU n Luca Todesco... you rocks dude...
Ya no kidding, I've tried every build w/7plus and all the walk-through's and "fixes" and damn thing still won't install Cydia properly. Always some stupid error about unable to open file source or whatever like the source folders are totally missing
I have a iphone 5s and im on 10.1.1 (14B150) Since apple stopped signing 10.2 I wont be able to go to 10.2 Will this yalu jailbreak still work on 10.1.1 or do you have to be on 10.2?
