Come eseguire il Jailbreak Untethered del Tuo iPod Touch 4G (Windows) [5.0.1]

Qui di seguito, trovate elencati i passi da seguire che vi permetteranno di eseguire un jailbreak untethered del vostro iPod Touch 4G su iOS 5.0.1 usando RedSn0w per Windows. La versione Mac di questo tutorial la trovate qui.

Se volete fare il jailbreak di un firmware precedente potete trovare il tutorial appropriato
qui.

Passo Uno
Create una cartella sul vostro desktop e chiamatela Pwnage

Scaricate l'ultima versione di RedSn0w da qui e spostate il file scaricato nella cartella Pwnage. Allo stesso modo, scaricate il firmware 5.0.1 da qui e spostate anche quest'ultimo nella cartella Pwnage.
(Nota: se avete già installato l' iOS 5.0.1 non avete bisogno di scaricare nuovamente il firmware 5.0.1)

Estraete il file .zip RedSn0w facendo doppio clic su questo.

Come eseguire il Jailbreak Untethered del Tuo iPod Touch 4G (Windows) [5.0.1]

Passo Due: (Tralasciate questo passaggio se avete già installato sul vostro dispositivo l' iOS 5.0.1)
Connettete il vostro iPod al computer ed aprite iTunes.

Selezionate il vostro iPod dalla lista dei dispositivi sulla sinistra. Adesso tenete premuto Shift e fate clic su Ripristina. Ripristina, è il metodo preferito in quanto non crea alcuno spazio inutile sul vostro iPod.

Cercate la cartella Pwnage sul vostro desktop e selezionate il firmware 5.0.1 ipsw. Fate clic sul pulsante Apri per continuare.

Adesso iTunes inizierà l'aggiornamento del vostro iPod al nuovo firmware.

Passo Tre
Lanciate il file eseguibile redsn0w dalla cartella redsn0w che abbiamo estratto prima ed assicuratevi di eseguirlo come amministratore in compatibilità con Windows Vista. Potete fare ciò facendo clic con il tasto destro sul file eseguibile, selezionando Proprietà dal menù contestuale.

Passo Quattro
Una volta aperto RedSn0w fate clic sull' opzione Jailbreak

Passo Cinque
Collegate il vostro iPod al computer e assicuratevi che il dispositivo sia SPENTO, dopo fate clic su Next

Passo Sei
Adesso, RedSn0w vi guiderà attraverso i vari passaggi per entrare nella modalità DFU. Potete trovare maggiore aiuto a proposito della DFU mode qui
Tenete premuto il tasto Power per circa due secondi.

Tenete premuti, contemporaneamente, i tasti Home e Power per 10 secondi

Rilasciate il pulsante Power e continuate a tener premuto il tasto Home fino a quando RedSn0w riconoscerà il vostro dispositivo.

Passo Sette
Il vostro iPod adesso sarà riavviato

Passo Otto
RedSn0w preparerà adesso i dati del jailbreak.

Passo Nove
Mettete la spunta su Install Cydia dalla lista delle opzioni e fate quindi clic su Next.

Passo Dieci
Il vostro iPod sarà nuovamente riavviato e RedSn0w inizierà a caricare i nuovi RAM Disk e Kernel.

Passo Undici
Una volta completato il processo riceverete una notifica da RedSn0w di avvenuta installazione (apparirà la scritta "Done!"). Quando il vostro iPod terminerà il riavvio (5 minuti circa) risulterà "jailbreakato" con Cydia sulla SpringBoard.

I am currently on 5.0.1 which I jailbroke using this method a year ago. Now I would like to do it again just so I can "Factory Reset" but still keep jailbreak. The only option I found was to restore the phone via itunes and then jailbreak again. The problem with that is...restoring with itunes will give me the latest 6.1 OS which I don't want. Any advice??

hi i have an ipod 5.0.1 and i can go in DFU mode but Redsn0w wont detect that im in it..can some one please help am i doing something wrong?

Help, I´ve been trying to run th redsnow and everything goes right until the system tries to reboot the ipod, then windows shows a message saying redsnow stop running and turns it off. I´m running the redsnow as an administrator and with windows vista compatibilty. What may I be doing wrong?

Finally it worked. I had to manually select the IPSW file in the settings. For SHSH error telling you that the IPSW file cannot be downloaded this is the solution

Mine didn't worked. I have a white iPod Touch 4g 8GB The error said something about SHSH blobs. It occurred while holding the home button after releasing the power button

Does it need the 4.2.1 ipsw file. I saw a shortcut with the redsnow program that needs the 4.2.1 ipsw file or should the filename be changed?

This does not work. I have an ipod 4G produced in DEC 2011 and after running Redsn0w and doing the DFU it installs limera1n and stuff then on is just stuck on rebooting. I tried it with 2 different ipod touch 4g both DEC 2011 production and it is in admin and also vista ( with or without) Never works. My phone reboots but redsn0w still says rebooting and stays stuck like that. DOES NOT WORK not on new models I suppose.

i had the same problem but i figured it out after fiddling without. So instead of just clickin th jailbreak button, click the extras and the select "manaully select ipsw" Make sure you have the ipod 5.0.1 file downloaded and select it. It should then say this file shall now be used for the rest of the jailbreak. Click the back button to go back to the jailbreak button and now click on the jailbreak button, and it should work.

I tried jailbreakin the iPod Touch 4g, and redsnow crashed in the middle, requiring me to restore the iPod.

to me precise it has rebooted and my ipod touch 4gis ON. P.S. its on 5.0.1
