GeoHot, chronic, posixninja, y pod2g han podido verificar que el exploit 24kpwn funcionara para hacer el Jailbreak de el iPhone 3GS.

Estas son grandes noticias para todos ustedes. Básicamente, esto significa que si alguien hace el Jailbreak "atado", fácilmente se "desatará", porque la cadena de arranque esta rota. Esperen grandes cosas pronto.

El iPhone Dev-Team también ha verificado esto!

Hace unas 5 horas, pudimos verificar que el exploit 24Kpwn que el equipo híbrido ha usado en el iPod Touch 2G esta aun presente en la memoria de arranque del iPhone 3GS. Eso significa que podremos aplicar la misma técnica usada por nuestra herramienta redsn0w actual para hacer el jailbreak y desbloquear el iPhone 3GS.

Esta es una gran noticia! Parece que la memoria de arranque fue generada por allá en agosto del 2008, así que la desafortunada revelación temprana del 24Kpwn a inicios del año no afecta a el iPhone 3GS.

Debemos poder ver las herramientas de jailbreak actualizadas para el iPhone 3GS muy pronto!

God a jailbreak would be nice i can't stand this thing without it. on another thought, if i copied all my files from my 3g using diskaid (ssh) to a folder is there just a way for me to install them on my new 3gs and have them work. Or is there some code in the new phone that won't allow me to do that. I was thinking if i just put them there manually instead of going through itunes that the phone wouldn't know the difference or where they came from. In particular irealquicksms, and iblacklist? but other 3rd party apps as well. Thanks,

Hopefully they put this jailbreak in software soon I had to unlock my 3gs the hard way. Ohh and by the way ultrasnow does work with the 3gs. Coding right now is the onlyway to jailbreak 3gs for now but once u get it and place Cydia in then the ultrasnow works. I wish I had time to put in software but I work to much. Goodluck geohot and dev team! You guys are the best for doing it for free.

do I have to turn off 3G and data roaming in the network setting after installing ultrasn0w? Or keep data roaming on
