Primer paso Abrir una nueva pantalla del Finder haciendo clic en el icono Finder en el Dock.
Segundo paso Click en Aplicaciones desde la lista de favoritos en la izquierda.
Tercer paso Doble clic a la carpeta Utilidades para acceder a tus utilidades.
Cuarto paso Doble clic al icono Boot Camp para lanzar la aplicación.
Quinto paso El asistente Boot Camp se abrirá. Clic al botón Continuar.
Sexto paso Se le pedirá crear una partición para Windows. Puedes deslizar el divisor para determinar el tamaño de las particiones. Windows 7 necesita cerca de 10 GB por lo menos. Sí planeas instalar aplicaciones (programas) asegúrate de que seleccionas espacio extra para ellos. En lo personal presione el botónUsar 32 GB para asignar 32 GB a mi partición de Windows 7. Cuando estés de acuerdo con el tamaño de tu partición clic al botón Particionar..
Boot Camp particionará tu disco duro...
Séptmo paso Una vez que tu disco duro ha sido particionado estas listo para iniciar la instalación de Windows. Inserta tu DVD de instalación de Windows 7 y presiona el botónIniciar Instalación button.
Octavo paso Tu computadora reiniciará y lanzará la configuración de Windows 7. Selecciona tu idioma, hora y formato de moneda, y teclado o método de entrada desde los cuadros desplegables, entonces clic al botón Siguiente.
Noveno paso Clic al botón Instalar ahora.
Décimo pasoo Por favor lee los términos de la licencia y selecciona Acepto los términos de la licencia. Clic al botón Siguiente para continuar.
Décimo primer paso Clic para seleccionar el método de instalación Personalizada (avanzada).
Duodécimo paso Clic para seleccionar la partición de disco etiquetada como BOOTCAMP entonces clic Opciones de dispositivo (avanzado) que aparece como enlace abajo.
Diferentes opciones de unidad de dispositivo aparecerán. Asegurándote que la partición Boot Camp esta seleccionada clic en el enlace Formatear.
Una ventana emergente aparecerá advirtiéndote que cualquier dato almacenado en la partición se perderá. Clic al botón Aceptar.
na vez que el dispositivo ha finalizado de formatear puedes hacer clic al botón Siguiente para continuar.
Décimo tercer paso Windows 7 comenzará a copiar y expandir archivos. Esto tomará algo de tiempo. Después de esto todos los archivos han sido copiados y expandidos la computadora reiniciará.
Ahora Windows 7 completará la instalación.
Tu computadora se reiniciará de nuevo.
Décimo cuarto paso Entonces se le pedirá elegir el nombre de usuario para tu cuenta y el nombre de tu computadora para distinguirla en la red. Realiza esto y clic al botón Siguiente para continuar.
Décimo quinto paso Entonces se le pedirá establecer una contraseña a usar para acceder a tu computadora. Teclea tu contraseña deseada, reescríbela para confirmarla, e introduce un indicio para ser usado si olvidas la contraseña. Clic en el botón Siguiente para continuar.
Décimo sexto paso El instalador de Windows 7 te preguntará por la clave del producto. Introduce la clave clic al botón Siguiente para continuar.
Décimo séptimo paso Windows te pedirá seleccionar tus preferencias en lo que a actualizaciones se refiere, seguridad, y asistencia en línea. Selecciona Usar los ajustes recomendados a menos que seas un usuario avanzado y comprendas como manejar el sistema por ti mismo.
Décimo octavo paso Revisa las configuraciones de tiempo y fecha para asegurarte de que son los correctos, entonces haz clic al botón Siguiente para continuar.
Décimo noveno paso Se le pedirá unirse a una red inalámbrica. Selecciona tu red inalámbrica de la lista que aparece entonces haz clic en el botón Siguiente. Si no deseas configurar una red inalámbrica debes hacer clic en el botón Omitir.
Vigésimo paso El instalador de Windows 7 le pedirá seleccionar la localización actual de su computadora. Presiona la opción apropiada.
Vigésimo primer paso Desde que seleccione Casa en el paso previo, Windows me pidió si quería crear una red casera. Una red casera enlaza computadoras en tu red personal de tal manera que puedas compartir dispositivos y archivos. Clic al botón Siguiente si no deseas crear una red casera; de otra manera, clic al botón Omitir.
Vigésimo segundo paso Windows 7 ahora abrirá a el Escritorio.
Clic en el botón Windows en la parte baja a la derecha, entonces clic en Computadora. Selecciona tu unidad de DVD desde los dispositivos visibles y clic en el botón Expulsar en la barra de herramientas.
Vigésimo tercer pasor Inserta tu DVD de instalación de Mac OS X y ejecuta el archivo setup.exe.
Nota: si tienes instalada la versión de 64 bits de Windows 7 entonces inserta y ejecuta un DVD que contiene Boot Camp 2.1 para Windows Vista de 64 bits (BCUpdateVista64.exe).
Vigésimo cuarto paso El instalador de Boot Camp aparecerá para guiarte a través de los pasos necesarios para instalar Boot Camp. Clic en el botón Siguiente para comenzar.
Vigésimo quinto paso Lee el acuerdo de licencia, selecciona Acepto los términos del acuerdo de licencia, clic en el botón Siguiente para continuar.
Vigésimo sexto paso Elige si deseas instalar la Actualización de Software de Apple para Windows entonces clic en el botón Instalar.
Vigésimo séptimo paso Boot Camp procederá a instalar los controladores necesarios para que tu Mac fucione apropiadamente en Windows.
Cuando la instalación se ha completado clic en el botón Finalizar.
Entonces se te solicitará reiniciar tu sistema para que los cambios en la configuración tomen efecto. Clic en el botón Si.
Vigésimo octavo paso Una vez que tu sistema ha reiniciado tu habrás instalado exitosamente Windows 7 en tu Mac usando Boot Camp.
Notarás que la resolución de tu pantalla ha sido mejorada y debes tener todos tus dispositivos trabajando apropiadamente!.
Notas: instalamos Windows 7 en una Mac Book Pro 2008 Late. No tuvimos dificultades con los controladores de cualquier tipo. Si hay algunos modelos específicos de Mac que necesiten controladores adicionales por háznoslo saber en los comentarios y actualizaremos las notas que contienen los enlaces a esos controladores.

estou tentando instalar o windows seven no meu mac mavericks osx 10.9.3. estou utilizando o Boot Camp vai tudo ok ate na hora de escolher a partição pra instalar o windows. nessa hora aparece o seguinte erro'a instalação não pode criar uma nova partição do sistema, nem localizar uma partição existente.consulte os arquivos de log de instalação para obter mais informações'. ja tentei de tudo sempre so me retorna essa mensagem ja tentei com outro arquivo de instalação do windows ja reinstalei o mac e atualizei mas nda resolve. se alguém puder ajudar... eduardo.campelo@Hotmail.com
I have learned some eietnssal things through your site post. One other stuff I would like to state is that there are many games that you can buy which are designed especially for preschool age kids. They include pattern identification, colors, wildlife, and models. These often focus on familiarization as opposed to memorization. This will keep a child engaged without having a sensation like they are studying. Thanks

So I have reached the "Where do you want to install Windows" window during the Windows 7 installation. I think I want to give less space to windows though. I have given it 141.3GB and prefer less.
I can't get the cd to eject and abort the installation though. Everytime I exit the installation, the mac shuts off and I don't know how to eject the cd.
Eject button and apple key + E is not working.

Turn off your Mac
Then start it back up while holding the "option" key on the keyboard.
Keep holding until you see a picture of a hard drive, maybe 2 hard drive icons. After that, wait until you see a picture of a CD appear. Press the eject key and it will eject the disc.

I installed Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro (13"). I don't have the OSX installation disc - I lost it. Most things work fine, but is there any way to update the drivers? For example, I tried playing a game, and it told me that I have an insufficient video card.
I recently bought like this past month, 17" macbook pro 4gb ram, 500gb hard drive. Just switched over from PC to MAC. I also bought a retailed full version of Windows 7 Ultimate that comes with the 32-bit and 64-bit DVDs. I partition my hard drive for 150GB and then put the 64-bit windows 7 dvd in and clicked start installation. The superdrive spins up for a bit and the mouse pointer spins, the superdrive slows down as if its stop spinning and the mouse pointer continues to spin as if it is doing something. I waited for some time and nothing changes. I called Apple support and they said it wont install because the update for bootcamp hasnt came out yet to support windows 7. That i would have to wait some time untill the end of the year to get it. I dont understand how they have all these how to install windows 7 and all these forums of people installing windows 7 via bootcamp, when Apple is saying its impossible. Im confused.....lol.....help?
Windows 7 has just been officially released and Apple are saying they will supply driver 'before the end of the year'. Will this still work using a new copy?
for those having problems with the x64 version and upgrading to Boot Camp 2.1:
insert the OS X install DVD, explore the disc drive and navigate to Boot Camp > Drivers > Apple and then run BootCamp64.
Hi everyone
I just want to highlight that there is a reason why the partition should not exceed 32GB. If you choose more than 32GB then format it on DOS32, Windows will not work because it will not recognize a DOS32 over 32GB. If you format it as NTFS, then yes Windows will work, but MAC OS will not be able to deal with it.
I installed Windows 7 on bootcamp, then installed the drivers, but my brightness keys do NOT work. When you tap the button to reduce brightness the popup flashes, but the indicator never drops down, nor does the screen brightness actually reduce... HELP!
Hmm, I also installed the 32 bit version on a late 2008 MBP but not all of my drivers installed correctly. I had to search for an audio driver and I can't get the trackpad driver to install correctly.
Kevin, see my response below... try reinstalling the BC drivers, but don't use the EXE, use the *.MSI. that's what installed the drivers for me... I have everything working in 64bit Windows 7.
HEy i just seen a thing that if you put your mac os disk into the computer when your using windows and then click on some stuff to install the drivers.
Users wanting to install the x64 version of Windows 7 can do so; but will have problems with the Boot Camp drivers after installation is completed. They simply won't install at all. While most of the MB/MBP should work with the stock drivers, the keyboard (and therefore the eject button for CD/DVD's) won't work.
To correct this, insert the BC DVD into the drive, and then open the DVD to view the files. Search for and execute BootCamp64.msi. Do NOT use the EXE. Something in it just isn't right on the 64bit version of Windows 7. Executing the MSI directly will install all the drivers and will get you running the right way.
I did this on my late 2008 unibody MacBook, and all seems to be running correctly.
