Google is mocking the rumored design of the 'iPhone 17 Air' ahead of its debut in a new Pixel ad. Apple is widely expected to introduce a new slim iPhone 17 model this fall, featuring a runway-style camera bump on the back, similar to the one found on the Pixel 9.
The #BestPhonesForever ad is titled "Responding to the Rumors", with the description: "Please don't go repeating everything you see."
In the ad, an iPhone and Pixel phone are seen talking, with the Pixel reminding the iPhone of several features it allegedly 'copied' from Android.

Hi, I'm Pixel — and this is my friend, iPhone.

Good day.

There are a lot of rumors circulating about iPhone's upcoming redesign.

It's crazy.
Can you imagine me doing the same thing you did first... years later?
Pixel:
Sounds pretty far-fetched.
iPhone:
I mean, there was that one time where you launched Night Sight —
and then a year later, I got Night Mode.
Pixel:
Total coincidence.
iPhone:
And that one time where you launched Magic Eraser —
and then three years later, I got Clean Up.
Pixel:
Oh yeah, I think I remember that.
iPhone:
And that one time when I, like, got widgets...
but you'd already had widgets for, like—
Pixel:
Since my first version. Nine years ago?
iPhone:
Yeah, exactly! Hmm.
Pixel:
Anyway, we want to remind everyone that these rumors are just rumors!
