I did the step-by-step process for jail breaking my iPod Touch. But it was stuck on the "process bar" screen. So I tried holding the home button and the power button which got it to turn off. But now when I try to turn my iPod Touch back on, it is stuck on the black screen with the gray apple. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Thanks!

Smo, the same happened to me and I did this and finally it worked. When your iPod is on the black screen with the gray apple wait a couple of minutes and then hold the home button and the power button in order to turn it off. Again, try to turn on your iPod and if it doesn't works, repeat the process a couple of times. If nothing happens restore the original software of your iPod with the iTunes and try Spirit again. Good luck. I did the step-by-step process for jail breaking my iPod Touch. But it was stuck on the "process bar" screen. Does it work for a 3 gen cause i saw where the question was asked but no respond so instead of me paying someone i did it myself. I don't want to have wasted my money by trying to jailbreak and it doesn't work!

How long does Spirit take to jailbreak the devise? I'm jailbreaking my iPod Touch 2G 3.1.2, and the iPod has been in the reboot state for about 10 minutes now; the progress bar filled completely, but it's stuck there... Please, i don't know if this is the expected behaviour. Thanks

If u dont speak spanish, please mail me ricardo.hardoy@gmail.com. Cya.

The new Apple is only 15 years old and it has already gelefully cannibalized itself many, many times. There is no reason to expect them to stop. iPad cannibalizes MacBook Air. Think about it.iPod touch has already cannibalized iPhone sales. There are people with iPod touch who would have broke down and got an iPhone if there were no iPod touch. But there are also others who went from touch to iPhone, or bought a touch then got their first Mac, or went touch to iPad. In 2002, I put a $400 iPod in my living room, replacing a $3000 Power Mac G3 with LCD display that just ran iTunes. The iPod had the same 30 gigabyte disk and held all the same songs and playlists. Awesome cannibalization! There is a clip of Steve Jobs from about 1994, talking about how the non-Steve Apple failed the Mac in the late 80 s, and he said once the Mac was established around a core high-end community (desktop publishing, etc) they should have done an inexpensive lower-end consumer model and gone for market share. That is what the new Apple did with iPod, and the iPad is a lower-end consumer Mac, which is half as profitable but sells 2x the Mac and will soon sell 10x the Mac. There is no low-end iPhone yet. It is missing. It could sell 10x the high-end iPhone, while it rolls along same as the Mac does, post-iPad.

Does jailbreak works completely with IPT 3rd-gen 3.1.3? If yes, iClarified, please update the jailbreak wizard, as it still says it can't be jailbroken.
