iPhone 14 Pro May Get Slightly Taller Display

The iPhone 14 Pro may get a slightly taller display to accommodate its new 'pill + hole' cutout design, according to a new report from 9to5Mac.
The site corroborates previous rumors that Apple will discontinue the 5.4-inch 'mini' model and instead release the iPhone 14 in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch versions.
However, it's suggested the screen could be slightly taller on the iPhone 14 Pro models due to the new 'pill + hole' cutouts that are rumored to replace the notch.
These mid-range phones will have the same display resolution as the current iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, the display on the flagships iPhones 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max (codenamed D73 and D74) may be slightly taller to accommodate the new “notch + pill” design that will replace the notch.
Additionally, the report corroborates an earlier one from Ming-Chi Kuo who predicted that only the iPhone 14 Pro would get the new A16 processor. It's thought that the iPhone 14 Pro will use the same A15 chip in the iPhone 13 Pro which has an extra GPU core and 6GB of RAM. Perhaps, Apple could rebrand this as the A15X.
Apple will likely debut its new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro at an event in September. You can download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for more Apple news.
