The new iPhone 12 is rumored to feature significant zoom and low light camera improvements, faster Face ID, longer battery life, and more.
The predictions were shared by Max Weinbach via @PineLeaks earlier today.
Highlights:
● Dynamic Zoning Algorithm will increase speed and angle of Face ID
● More "tightly" arranged TrueDepth camera system will be shipped with the 5.4-inch iPhone. The notch shrinks horizontally, but increases slightly vertically.
● Digital and Optical Zoom will both get a big boost:
"Improved digital zoom will be achieved by combining several frames at different zoom levels and stacking them together - an hybrid of cropping and optical zooming. An algorithm based off of Deep Fusion will take care of correct alignment and sharpening. Smart HDR 3 does the rest."
● Using the iPhone 12 ultra-wide lens you'll be able to get closer to objects than before for macro photography.
● Ultra-wide lens will also get a larger aperture for better night shots.
● At least an 1 hour battery life increase for the Pro models; however, iPhone 5.4-inch will have less battery life than the iPhone 11 due to its smaller size.
Apple is set to unveil four new iPhones with 5G support at a special event on October 13th. You can learn more about their expected specifications and features here. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for full coverage of the event.
