Apple Watch ECG Feature Limited to U.S. by Region Setting, Can be Enabled Internationally [Report]

Apple's upcoming ECG feature for Apple Watch Series 4 will likely be limited to the U.S. via region settings not hardware, reports 9to5Mac.

Looking at code within iOS related to the ECG feature, we’ve been able to confirm that its limitation to the US will be based on the software region of the user’s devices (iPhone and Apple Watch).

This means that if you set your iPhone and Apple Watch to the United States region, you may be able to enable access to the ECG feature internationally.
