Coolstar has announced that the Electra jailbreak of iOS 11.3.1 will go straight to public release, no public beta, no developer build.
There are only 3 copies of Electra 11.3.1. no, there will not be public beta testing, and no, there will be no developer build. Only the final release. Developers wanting to update their tweaks for Electra early are recommended to get an iOS 11.1.2 device until then.
Electra Team member nullpixel also teased some screenshots of a working Cydia application on Twitter today.
This feels really good! @coolstarorg good work on the bug, @Pwn20wnd great cli to exploit it :)
Nullpixel confirmed that the team was waiting on a rootFS remount from Jonathan Levin. We'll post more details as they become available. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

I wouldn't hold my breath... The last jailbreak that really worked was the one released for iOS 9. Nobody was able to come up with anything close to that ever since... Considering Apple's active fighting the JB phenomenon through pushing countless minor iOS updates, which ultimately led to an unstoppable decline in jailbreaking, not only for the tweaks developers, but also for the users, I highly suspect this attempt is doomed to fail like all the other ones before it...
jailbreaking was fun from iOS 2.0 to iOS 8. Beyond that a lot of people that made everything possible kinda gave up and grew tired of it. I’ll pass, iOS 12 is plenty for me.
I'm guessing that Coolstar feels kinda obliged to since the community actually 'bought' him both iPhone X units he needed for testing.
Can't wait! Ready for our early Xmas gift ✌️🎄.
