Apple iPhone 17 Lineup: Key Specs and Features Allegedly Revealed

Alleged specifications and features for all four iPhone 17 models have been detailed in a new report from GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu. The purported specs corroborate a range of rumored updates across the lineup which is said to include iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max devices, set for a September 2025 launch.

Here's what's been outlined:

The iPhone 17 is expected to feature a 6.1-inch display, an A19 N3P processor, and 8GB of LPD5 DRAM. Its camera setup includes a 24MP 6P front camera and a rear system with a 48MP 7P lens and a 12MP 5P secondary lens. It will use an aluminum casing, Qualcomm baseband, and support 35W charging. Dimensions, from a separate leak of alleged iPhone 17 dummy models, are 149.62mm in height, 71.46mm in width, and 7.96mm in thickness, with a familiar pill-shaped camera bump housing two vertically stacked lenses.


The iPhone 17 Air stands out with a 6.1-inch display and the same A19 N3P chip, paired with 8GB of LPD5 DRAM. It offers a 24MP 6P front camera and a 48MP 7P rear camera. This model shifts to a titanium casing and may include either Qualcomm or Apple baseband. Charging remains at 35W. Its ultra-slim design, with dimensions from the same dummy leak of 156.18mm in height, 74.71mm in width, and 5.65mm in thickness, features a single-lens camera in a "runway strip" bump with flash and microphone.

The iPhone 17 Pro ups the ante with a 6.3-inch display, an A19 Pro N3P processor, and 12GB of LPD5 DRAM. It includes a 24MP 6P front camera and a triple-lens rear setup with a 48MP 7P, periscope 48MP 1G+3P, and 48MP 6P lenses. It retains an aluminum casing, Qualcomm baseband, and 35W charging. Dimensions from the dummy leak are 149.63mm in height, 71.44mm in width, and 8.75mm in thickness. A large camera bump is rumored to extend across the back, housing the camera lenses on the left in a triangular lens layout and the flash, microphone, and LiDAR stacked vertically on the right.

Finally, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, possibly renamed the iPhone 17 Ultra, boasts a 6.9-inch display, the same A19 Pro N3P chip, and 12GB of LPD5 DRAM. Its camera system mirrors the Pro with a 24MP 6P front camera and a 48MP 7P, periscope 48MP 1G+3P, and 48MP 6P rear lenses. It uses an aluminum casing, Qualcomm baseband, and 35W charging. The larger model's dimensions, per the dummy leak, are 163.04mm in height, 77.59mm in width, and 8.75mm in thickness.

All models list Foxconn or Luxshare-ICT for NPI (New Product Introduction), with the iPhone 17 Pro Max allegedly assigned to Luxshare-ICT for this initial manufacturing phase. NPI refers to the process where new devices are prototyped and prepared for mass production. These details align with recent predictions, offering a glimpse into Apple's potential direction for its 2025 lineup.
