Microsoft has officially unveiled its new Surface Laptop following its leak yesterday.
We built Surface Laptop to do two things: refresh the classic laptop form factor that our customers, especially college students, have been asking for; and make a Surface that works seamlessly to showcase the best of Windows 10 S.
Features: ● 2.76lbs and 14.47mm at its thickest point ● 13.5” PixelSense Display, made with edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass 3 ● Thinnest LCD touch screen display on any laptop ● 3.4M pixels with every pixel color calibrated ● 7th Generation Intel Core processor ● Up to four more hours of battery power than a 13” MacBook Pro ● 14.5 hours of battery life ● Alcantara-covered keyboard and soft palm rest
The laptop comes in four colors: Platinum, Graphite Gold, Cobalt Blue, and Burgundy. It runs Windows 10 S and for a limited time comes with a one-year Office 365 Personal subscription and 1TB of OneDrive storage. The Surface Laptop starts at $999 USD and will be available beginning on June 15th.
Need me a new PC... Might as well be a laptop since my activities allow me to be flexible. Like it quite a bit!! I'm gonna wait for user reports if there are some quality issues but it definitely looks sharp.
It's awesome!!!!! I love love love my iPhone and iPad but THIS, this is way better than any mac. Yes go ahead and attack. You know this to be a fact. I would never trade my wonderful iPhone but that's all the apple product I like.
But... it just looks like a MacBook copycat. Why are companies so unoriginal when it comes to design. Literally slapped a windows logo where an apple one would be.
Like our favorite Apple never copies in fact after Steve All Apple does is copying from others, and this thing got more power and much more battery life then the new messed up Mac Book Pro that so many including myself have and still returning, even Apple finally admitted that they made so many mistakes with the new Pro like totally stripping it down not adding a Touch Screen or RAM, I couldn't wait to get the new Pro expecting a powerhouse getting a stupid Touch strip that should have been on the touch screen which don't exist and on top of it all can't even connect my iPhone to iTunes because they forgot that the iPhone uses a different USB connection so like so many others have returned mine 10 days later and went back to my 3 years old Pro which is more powerful and beside USB C got all the missing connections and a memory card reader and it's not that I've given up on Apple it's more like they have given up on us and only care about our money, with Steve it was device first then the money, I'm sure and hopeful that Apple will learn from their mistakes of I believe their worst year ever.
