Elgato has unveiled a new Thunderbolt 2 Dock with 4K video, improved audio, stand-alone charging and more.
Featuring 20 Gb/s bandwidth and support for HDMI displays with up to 4K resolution, Elgato Thunderbolt 2 Dock provides a leap in performance over the first generation of Thunderbolt docks. What's more, Elgato Thunderbolt 2 Dock offers an improved, amplified audio output as well as stand-alone USB charging.
The Elgato Thunderbolt 2 Dock lets you use one Thunderbolt cable to hook up your computer to your display, wired network connection, a headset, and your high-speed peripherals. It comes in an aluminium enclosure similar to the design of Apple's notebooks and offers two Thunderbolt 2 ports, three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, amplified Audio out and microphone in.
