New iOS 7 Lock Screen Concept [Video]

Posted March 20, 2013 at 7:10pm by iClarified
Designer Mohamed Kerroudj has posted a new iOS 7 lock screen concept video.

The concept features a swipe-up action to unlock the screen similar to what is currently used to access the camera on iOS 6. Kerroudj also offers a redesigned Calendars app, Settings toggles, and Notification Center alerts.

Take a look below and share your thoughts in the comments.

Actually it is More likely a Win8ish!! I really hate it already, ..No way Apple got infected with "Flatness" theme!!! Guys at Apple you are have your share of a fail compilation image of Windows 8. Excuse me am not an Apple fan boy, but this is a "Fail" and you will see instead creativity should be around creating something new.. with alot of wow factor not copying some dads summer shirt patterns for art home work. My buttom line suggestions are more dynamics to the GUI plus more flixability iOS features .. yup its time for reinventing iOS you cannot get away with that my pickles are newr than your os wake up lol..

These people obviously don't understand Apple's thirst for innovation. It's so important to them that even if your mockup was 100% spot-on, they'd go as far as dumping the design & starting over, just so they can be the 'innovators'.

So someone made a cydia theme and added tweaks to look like a really advanced version of windows (windows 11 maybe?) and decided to call it an ios 7 concept? um ok you do that lol

This is stupid. What's the point of a lock screen then? Besides, I will say it too, it doesn't even look like iOS.

If you installed Cydia, you could stop wishing.

No way Apple would ever do that. First of all, it's a LOCK SCREEN concept, so why the hell does it have SO MANY PLACES to touch? It's assumed to avoid tapping anything by accident. It would be preferrable to not have any lockscreen at all. Besides, the font size is too small.

That is just a mix between Android and Windows Phone. I don't think apple would design something like this.

Design is way too Google like.

The fonts are way too small, doesn't even meet the Apple usability guidelines. And I agree with the other comments, it doesn't look like Apple at all. The design is good, it might not just be for the iOS.

First point- why do we want almost full functionality from the lock screen? What's the point of a lock screen which has access to half your stuff? Second point- don't you think it looks like it would suit WP8 more than iOS? I agree with the previous posts which say it looks a bit google like. Not a bad thing necessarily.

i like it, but the design concept reminds me of google--which isn't a bad thing. apple is simple and user-friendly, but i hope they could put in more elegance to their design. i hope jon ivy can change that.

I like them. But what will apple come up with in the end?

Lets hope apple does something. They are not innovating anymore
