Vodafone is warning iPhone 4S customers not to upgrade to iOS 6.1 due to a bug that affects 3G performance.
We’re aware of an issue caused by Apple iPhone 4s handsets that have been upgraded to iOS 6.1 which impacts performance on 3G.
Some customers may occasionally experience difficulty in connecting to the network to make or receive calls or texts or to connect to the Internet. Apple is working on a solution to their software issue. These connection problems are intermittent.
While Apple’s investigations continue, we would recommend that anyone who has not yet installed iOS 6.1 on their iPhone 4s should delay doing so until Apple has confirmed that their problem has been fixed.
Apple has already seeded developers with a beta of iOS 6.1.1 but its unclear if this issue is addressed in that build.
Vodafone Australia sucks regardless if your with them and experiencing problems maybe its time for a new network .... That actually works and actually has coverage?
South Africa since 6.1 update I have "no service" on and off during the day only on Vodacom network all other networks are working great ! Vodacom sucks !
Whenever i leave my iPod touch 4th gen the wifi goes off and doesn't come back on and that is soo annoyin when i want to connect to the Internet. I also hate the battery goin down quick aswell plus it stays full when listenin to music and goes flat when using apps. It should stay fully charged all the time and why doesn't the iPod touches have the battery percentige like it has on the iPhones that's something apple needs to put on the iPod touches plus upgrade the battery aswell make it last longer
