Apple has fixed the FaceTime for Mac security issue with a server-side solution that prevents the app from view your account.
According to CocoaTouchApps, "They blocked FaceTime access to the iTunes Store servers completely. If you were to go into FaceTime preferences and click Account, youll see two options available: Change Location and View Account. Go ahead, click View Account. The next page will attempt to load but immediately bounce you back to the Account preferences panel. Its a sneaky work around to a potentially serious security flaw. Im actually impressed that Apple knocked that out so quickly."
It's likely that an updated beta will be released eventually to fix the application itself.
