Una nueva versión de Facebook para el iPhone OS 3.0 está llegando muy pronto con 15 grandes mejoras, incluyendo eventos, según el desarrollador Joe Hewitt.

La actualización está alrededor del 98% y al finalizarla se presentará a Apple para su aprobación.

Así que ¿Qué hay de nuevo en esta actualización?
1. La "nueva" News Feed
2. "Like"
3. Eventos (incluyendo la capacidad de RSVP)
4. Notas
5. Páginas
6. Crear nuevos álbumes de fotos
7. Subir fotos a cualquier álbum
8. Zoom en fotos
9. Etiquetado más fácil de fotos
10. álbum de fotos de perfil
11. Una nueva pantalla de inicio para facilitar el acceso a todas sus cosas, buscar, y las notificaciones
12. Añade tu perfil y las páginas favoritas a la pantalla de inicio
13. Notificaciones mejor (que enlace a los comentarios para que pueda responder)

Las notificaciones "Push" no estan en desarroyo, pero no se construirá en la versión 3.0. Usted puede esperar que en la versión 3.1

I hope we're now able to change our profile picture without having to go onto a computer.. this was so aggravating to me, and I'm sure others.

This is amazing- And a time SAVER If Facebook gets push notification for their app- I will only check it when there's a notification! No more signing on to see if someone messaged me and then wandering about the site.

related/possibly unrelated question. I'm running the current released app version of Facebook for iPhone. Much of the time, various Wall posts from friends will be duplicated in the News Feed Top Stories on the home page in the app. No rhyme or reason as to who or what type of entry... just sometimes the same exact entry will show up 5 or 6 spots down the page on the Top Stories list. This doesn't happen on the FB web page... it's something peculiar to the iPhone app. Just wondering if it's something I've done, or a bug.
