Apple has announced that iOS 18 adoption has reached 82% and iPadOS 18 adoption has reached 71%. This is a significant jump from the numbers Apple released back in January.
As of June 4, 2025, 82% of iPhone users are on iOS 18, 9% are on iOS 17, and 9% are using an earlier version. That number improves to 88%, 8%, and 4% for devices introduced in the last four years.
For iPad, 71% of users are on iPadOS 18, 14% are on iPadOS 17, and 15% are on an earlier version. That jumps to 81%, 12%, and 7% for devices introduced in the last four years.
Apple released iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5 last month. Developers have yet to be seeded with iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6 betas, but those will likely arrive during WWDC next week.
