Apple Releases visionOS 2.5 for Vision Pro [Download]

Apple has officially released visionOS 2.5 for its Vision Pro headset.

This release includes improvements and bug fixes, including a new Vision tab in the Apple TV app to easily discover and watch Apple Immersive Video and 3D movies available on Apple Vision Pro.

Update Apple Vision Pro Manually
At any time, you can check for and install software updates.

Go to Settings > General > Software Update.

The Settings window shows the currently installed version of visionOS and whether an update is available.

Update Apple Vision Pro Automatically
If you didn't turn on automatic updates when you first set up your Apple Vision Pro, do the following:

Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Automatic Updates.

The Settings window shows the currently installed version of visionOS and whether an update is available.

Turn on Download visionOS Updates and Install visionOS Updates.

When an update is available, Apple Vision Pro downloads and installs the update overnight while the battery is connected and charging, and the device is connected to Wi-Fi. You're notified before an update is installed.
