Apple's enterprise sales and western European market leadership are set for a significant change. Mark Rogers, the company's vice president overseeing both global enterprise sales and the western European market, plans to depart later this year, according to a Bloomberg report. Rogers, a 27-year Apple veteran and vice president since 2013, informed colleagues of his decision, though the company has not made a public announcement.
Rogers currently manages Apple's sales to corporate entities globally and leads the company's business across key western European countries, including the UK, Germany, and France. He reports to Mike Fenger, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide sales, who in turn reports directly to CEO Tim Cook.
Apple's sales organization has seen a series of leadership changes in recent years. Fenger assumed his current role after Doug Beck's departure in 2023, which prompted a broader reorganization. When Rogers steps down, his responsibilities will be divided: Juan Castellanos, currently vice president for central and eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, will add western Europe to his remit, while Vivek Thakkar, vice president of U.S. carrier and enterprise sales, will take over global enterprise sales. Both will continue reporting to Fenger.
The company's sales structure was previously reshaped following the retirement of Hugues Asseman, Castellanos' predecessor. That reorganization, which began in 2023 and was implemented over the following year, elevated India's importance within Apple's global sales strategy by making it a standalone region and assigning its leader, Ashish Chowdhary, to report directly to Fenger.
Rogers' planned exit comes amid a broader wave of executive transitions at Apple. In recent months, the company has seen the departures of longtime hardware engineering leader Dan Riccio and Chief People Officer Carol Surface. In March, Apple appointed a new executive to oversee Siri, and it also recently named a new vice president to lead its global retail operations.
The timing of Rogers' announcement coincides with a key date on Apple's internal calendar, when restricted stock units typically vest for employees. It's not uncommon for long-serving executives to plan their departures around this milestone.
