Early benchmarks for the new iPhone 16e have surfaced on Geekbench ahead of the smartphone's release.
The iPhone 16e features an A18 chip with a 6-core CPU (2 performance and 4 efficiency), alongside a 4-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine.
Currently, there are six CPU results in the benchmark browser for the iPhone 16e. The average single-core score is 3119 and the average multi-core score is 7945. Compare that to the iPhone 16 at 3317 and 8163, and the iPhone SE 3 at 2259 and 5442.
Looking at graphics, there are currently five GPU benchmarks scores for the iPhone 16e in the benchmark browser. The average Metal score for the iPhone 16e is 24074. Compare that to the iPhone 16 at 27669 and the iPhone SE 3 at 17696. Notably, despite featuring the same 'A18' processor as the iPhone 16, the new iPhone 16e has a binned GPU with 4-cores versus 5-cores on the iPhone 16.
Finally, the Geekbench browser reveals 8GB of RAM, a model number of iPhone17,5, and a V59AP motherboard.
