X Now Supports Passkeys on iOS

Posted January 24, 2024 at 5:20pm by iClarified
X, formerly Twitter, has announced Passkey support on iOS for users in the United States.

-----
Today we're excited to launch Passkeys as a login option for our US-based users on iOS!

A passkey is a new, easy to use, and secure way to log in to your account - all from your device. Passkeys are more secure than traditional passwords since they're individually generated by your device for each account. A passkey is a way to sign in to an app or website account, without needing to create and remember a password. Instead of a password, a passkey uses Touch ID or Face ID to identify you. Apple supports passkeys on iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS 13, or higher.

You can download X from the App Store for free.
