Profusion Studios announced the release of iStunt Reloaded 1.6, an update to their highly successful snowboarding game for the iPhone and iPod touch. A top-10 game in Canada and Germany, it includes both Stunt and Racing Modes. The snowboarding experience feels real, enhanced by the effects of mass, gravity, momentum, acceleration, and rotation, as rendered by the sophisticated physics engine of the iPhone OS. Version 1.6 adds an optional level pack of 15 additional levels, and an optional, high speed, racing jet board.

iStunt Reloaded puts the player into the game as a snowboarder in a world of snow covered mountains, valleys, cliffs, loops, gorges, and mazes. Along the way he may encounter giant buzz saws, fields of stalagmites, fans, checkpoint flags, scoring tokens, and circus canons from which he can be shot over long distances. There are zero gravity zones, boost zones that increase speed, and gravity inversion zones where the player must rotate the device 180-degrees to continue. All the while he can crouch down to avoid obstacles or increase speed, balance in midair, launch upwards, change the angle of takeoff or landing, and perform a variety of acrobatics.

The game includes 30 different levels of play in both Stunt Mode and Time Trial (Racing) Mode. In Stunt Mode points are earned according to the form and accuracy of landings, distance travelled, and scoring tokens scooped up. In Time Trial Mode points are based on speeds and distances achieved. The game includes support for OpenFeint, including online scoreboards and achievements. Version 1.6 introduces an optional level pack containing 15 new levels for each mode. Also included in the latest update is an optional, jet-assisted snowboard for advanced Time Trial competitions.

Feature Highlights:
* Realistic game physics based on real-world Newtonian principles
* Tutorial, beginners, and graduated levels of difficulty
* User-controlled view, zoom in/zoom out
* Accelerometer calibration
* Great soundtrack: "Narrow Escape" by Josh Mobley and Woody Ranere
* Signs giving hints of what to do during game progress
* Skip up to 5 levels
* Auto-zoom feature adjusts field of view when necessary
* Zero-gravity, speed, and gravity-inversion zones
* User-controlled stance, balance, jump, takeoff, landing, flips, speed
* Both Stunt Mode and Racing Mode

While the game's physics is true-to-life, the minimalist graphics, black outlined figures filled in with high resolution color gradients, create a surreal world where hyper-realistic clouds coexist with 2D people and objects. The overall effect is to focus the attention on the action, adding to the realism of the experience.

"What began as iStunt, Version 1.0 six months ago, has grown into iStunt Reloaded, Version 1.6 today," commented company CEO Andre Almeida. "I'd really like to thank the players from all over the world whose comments and suggestions have played a part in making the game so successful."

Pricing and Availability:
iStunt Reloaded 1.6 for the iPhone or iPod touch is available now free at the Apps Store in the Games category. Some optional content and features are available as in-app purchases.
