Google Mocks iPhone's Late Adoption of USB-C in New Pixel Ad [Video]

Google has posted a new '#BestPhonesForever' entitled 'Spa Day' mocking the iPhone's late adoption of USB-C.

Big fall launches are stressful, but Pixel helps its friend stay cool as a cucumber.

The ad arrives ahead of Apple's 'Wonderlust' special event on September 12th and Google's #MadeByGoogle event on October 4th. While Apple has not officially announced a transition to USB-C, it's widely rumored to be update all four new iPhone 15 models with the connector.


The move to USB-C is expected to bring much faster data transfer speeds and will bring the company into compliance with the EU's common charger directive; however, users who upgrade from an older iPhone model may need to purchase a new charging block as Apple no longer includes one with each iPhone.
