Apple Officially Kills iTunes Movie Trailers App

Apple has officially pulled the plug on its 'iTunes Movie Trailers' app.

In an update to the app today, Apple says...

Apple TV app is the new home of iTunes Movie Trailers. Open the Apple TV app to watch trailers.


The company also cut off the data feed to the app. Unfortunately, that means that even if you already have 'iTunes Movies Trailers' installed, it loads blank.

While there are trailers available in the Apple TV app, users no longer have access to the many features that made the 'iTunes Movie Trailers' popular, including theatre data, charts, calendars, and more. Hopefully, some of these features will get added to the Apple TV app in the future.
