Apple has updated its support document for AirPods, indicating that users without an Apple device can take their AirPods to an Apple Store to get their firmware updated.
If you don't have an Apple device nearby, you can set up an appointment at an Apple Store or with an Apple Authorized Service Provider to update your firmware.
Earlier today, Apple released a firmware update for AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max.
It's unclear what changes the 5E133 update brings, as Apple's release notes only say, "Bug fixes and other improvements".
If you don't already have AirPods, there are some discounts available today.
● AirPods Pro 2 - $199.99 ($49.01 off)
● AirPods 2 - $99 ($60 off)
● AirPods Max - $479.99 ($69.01 off)
