There are now conflicting rumors on whether or not iOS 17 will drop support for the iPhone X and iPhone 8.
Yesterday, a rumor shared on Twitter claimed that Apple would drop support for various iPhone and iPad models with its next major software update, similar to last year.
Now, another leaker on MacRumors forums claims otherwise.
This is simply incorrect, my buddy says all devices that supported iOS 16 will support iOS 17 including all A11 chipsets.
Apple has announced that its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place June 5 - 9 this year. It seems we'll need to wait until then to find out which devices are compatible with iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17.
